The Chiapas Rubber Plantation and Investment Co. is listed as
"suspended" by the State of California, which means it is no longer a
viable business under that name.

It is possible to obtain more detailed records from the state for a
small fee (about $10 or so).  The records should indicate when and why
the company was suspended, and perhaps indicate what became of it as
well.

Should I post information about obtaining these records as an answer
to your question?
