Is there a way to merge a PDF file and an XML data file on a url such as
http://www.myserver.com/mypdffile.pdf&mydatafile.xml . I am able to
do this manually by opening a pdf file (mypdffile.pdf) and importing a
data file (mydatafile.xml). What I want to do is dynamically generate
an xml file and then direct a user to open the pdf file importing the
xml file.

I was able to do this by dynamically generating a fdf file dynamically
populating a pdf file such as
%FDF-1.2
1 0 obj<</FDF<</Fields[<</V(#rpt_date#)/T(Rpt_Date)>>]/F(MyPDFFile.pdf)>>>>
endobj
trailer
<</Root 1 0 R>>
%%EOF

However, Adobe 7.0 doesn't seem to support the generation of fdf
files. So, I am looking for a way to do this with an xml data file.
