I will be moving permanently from the US to the UK and would like to
know if there are any restrictions, taxes or penalties (from either UK
or US government agencies) associated with transferring money from the
US to the UK. The total amount will be about $200K and will come
primarily from the proceeds of the sale of my house. I'm a citizen of
both countries and will have bank accounts in both countries at the
time I plan to do the transfer.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.
