What is the worldwide market size for industrial wastewater treatment plants
(rather then municipal wastewater treatment plants)?

What is the market size for industrial wastewater treatment plants in
the U.S., Europe, Asia? What is it for select countries (such as U.S.,
Germany, Japan, France etc.)

How much do leading industrial companies (in U.S., Germany, Japan,
France etc.) spend on average for treating their wastewater? What
examples of wellknown companies are there for investments in
wastewater treatment?

How many industrial wastewater treatment plants are there in selected
countries (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Germany, Japan, France etc.)?

Hello doiff-ga,

My preliminary research shows that this is an enormous topic. A quick
look at the following links shows the variety of industrial wastewater
treatment situations that are covered by your question. It also shows
that this industry is monitored by some market research firms and the
reports cost thousands of dollars.

Can you cut this question down to manageable size? What approach would
you like us to take to give you a satisfactory answer?

Hello czh-ga,

My main goal is to have data on the market size for industrial
wastewater plants. If possible, segmented for either individual large
countries or regions. This should include estimates for the coming few
years.

The rest of my question is not so important to me (or I can run them
at a later time again on Google Answers). I just thought some examples
would make my final report more interesting.

Is my question better manageable in this form? Please let me know. I
could also increase the time frame for this question in case you need
more time (expiry date 5 Feb 2006).

Best, doiff
