PC-Miler shows both practical mileage and shortest mileage. I have found that the practical is very close to actual truck route mileage. The shortest route option is not practical and will short the driver by about 10 percent and provide a route that will consume a greater delivery time; unfair if running a driver friendly company. Intelliroute varies. sometimes close to PC-miler's practical and somtimes closer to shortist route. it also takes into condideration things such as tolls (pc-miler does not) and will route drivers to two lane roads which can affect delivery times.. Overall, it is pretty hard to beat the PC-miler product in my opinion |
