how can I fix or at least diagnose an intermittent roaming profile prob?

Any idea of how to fix or diagnose Roaming profile problems?

This is a Win 2000 Pro workstation connected to a Win 2000 server
using roaming profiles.

Sometimes it loads the profile, sometimes it fails to do so and works
off the local cache. So the result is things disappear and reappear
off my desktop.

I?m not even sure how to tell if I am running off the cache or not at
the moment. What could be a reason that some days it does and other
days it doesn?t work?

thanx in advnce,

Do you have quotas set ? If so when your IEXPlorer cache gets big the
download of your profile will fail. A roaming profile is basically
your Windows/profile folder being uploaded/downloaded every time you
log in or out.
