I am an ebay seller, I need to copy and paste addresses from invoices to make mailing labels. When I do this straight on to a label template, they look fine, but when I print, they move - I might have a name on the bottom of one label and the address on the next with someone else' s name under it. What am I dong wrong? The only software I have is Microsoft Works task Launcher and I am using Windows XP - 2005. Thank you |

Did you consider just using the Paypal USPS/UPS online postage printing service? It eliminates the need for printing your own labels and makes it much simpler in sending your items. I hope this helps. Have a good day. |

The following may help Open Micro Soft ?Word? (If you have It, not sure if ?Works? has a similar function) Then on the Tools menu, click Envelopes and Labels, and then click the Labels tab. Click Options. In the Label products box, click the brand of label you want to use. In the Product number box, click the number of your label. If the type of labels you want to use is not listed in the Product number box, you might be able to use one of the listed labels, or you can create your own custom labels. If this does not work please let me know what brand and label No. you are using Kind Regards Ross (Redcliffe, Australia) |

Ross, many thanks for your time & trouble. I was able to follow your instructions, but when I print, even though I have 16 different names & addresses on page, it prints 16 copies of same label. I made sure I was choosing address/mailing labels [not return address] as i did when I had office on previous computer. This keeps asking for a mail merge document - I have no idea how to construct one of these. Sue |

Hi there back again, When you opened ?envelops and labels? on the ?Tools? Drop Down Menu did you click on the print ?single label button? it may be located in a different area on works but on word it is down the left hand side. Kind regards Ross (Australia) |

I'm sorry I won't be of any help here - I jumped to the assumption that you were in the U.S. The online postage printing that I mentioned is a service of the U.S. Postal Service and UPS (United Parcel Service), neither of which you would be using. I hope you can get things sorted out. Have a good day. |
