Question ID: 430363
Other than the active ingredient in Alka Seltzer, what materials out
there can I obtain that are effervescent and non-toxic? What I am
looking for, are chemicals/ingredients that create a large amount of
air/gas/bubbles when they get wet. The more gas/air/bubbles... the
better. I need something that has a much stronger 'reaction' than the
stuff in alta seltzer.
Feel free to ask any clarification questions.
I am not looking for the answer 'use MORE sodium bicarbonate..'. I am
looking for other materials that have this effect.
Thanks !

Dry ice has a much more bubbly effect in water.
