A few years back as I was reading one of my favorite magazines,
(gourmet) i came across a very nice saying, it goes some thing like
this...
as a human being working...or living in this planet
My most enjoyiable moment would be if I
found out that some one out there breathed better,
lived better, was happier person because i did something insignificantly.
can't recall the exact saying, but in general that would be the meaning the
saying was trying to convey.

"To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
    and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
    and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better,
    whether by a healthy child,
    a garden patch
    or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier
    because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded."
