"Wolf hybrids, due to their wild nature, resist training and obedience
and resent confinement. They are timid and readily bite when they feel
threatened, teased or cornered. They are also unpredictable,
destructive and adept at escaping confinement.

Another dangerous aspect of wolf hybrids is that they will usually
strongly bond with one human. If they feel that this person is being
threatened, even if he/she is actually just playing or having a heated
discussion with another family member, an attack and potential tragedy
can occur.

As puppies, wolf hybrids are very adorable, lovable and enjoyable
pets. As they mature, their wild instincts and fearlessness take over
and they soon become unacceptable pets. As with wolf pets, most wolf
hybrids are euthanized."

REF:
while what pinkfreud-ga commented on is true I have encountered other
dogs that were the same, fearless, very protective etc... that were of
various breeds and mixes so i'm not certain that these traits can
apply to any specific breed I am confident that the upbringing an
personality of the dog does play a big role in the dogs behavior.(just
like people?) I'm no expert just my opinion.

Dogs are unique individuals, and breed characteristics will not
necessarily be present to the same degree in all dogs of a certain
breed. Nevertheless, I urge caution when dealing with wolf hybrids.
Many animal adoption organizations, including the one with which I
volunteer, will not accept wolf hybrids because of the potential
risks. These can be beautiful, wonderful animals. They also can be
vectors of tragedy and heartbreak.

They 'can' make wonderful pets. One of the problems you'll encounter is this:

However, do NOT let the vet (or anyone else) put "wolf hybrid" on his
paperwork. You will need to find a vet who is willing to list him as a
dog, so that he will be issued a rabies certificate.

You can read more about the hybrid at that site.

this is a new breed with excellent characteristics.
