Using a humidifier in your house during the winter months can help
reduce static cling.

I swear by dryer soft sheets.

When I put something on that has static cling..I just rub dryer sheets
on my clothes and all is well :)

Stop using the dryer for any items made of synthetic fabrics, wool or silk.
I never have a problem with static cling, except when I put an item
made of polyester, nylon, spandex, wool or silk or a blend containing
one of those fibers into the dryer with cottons.
I hang all my nylon, polyester, wool and silk underwear, shirts and
other items on hangers in the shower. They dry within a few hours--no
shrinkage and no static cling.
You can also use those "dryer sheets", but they tend to smell bad and
leave you walking around smelling of cheap perfume.
