...oddly just discovered this service, lets see if you can help...
I need to very quickly hack something up in actionscript for a
prototype, the effect is something like a strip of white paint being
drawn across different 3D surfaces, with the camera catching up to
this strip at different moments.  It will serve as an effect for a
website, sort of the thread that connects the different bits of
content.
I expect you to be able to give me a rather precise "overview" of the
best way to address this.  I am currently intending to use an open
source actionscript 3d engine, and to figure out the best way to drew
consecutive triangles that belong to this planar strip..  The tricky
thing is how to control the animation of what I am doing...
