I want the complete official diesel and gasoline emissions data for
the 2005 Smart Fortwo automobile.
This will include test sheet diagrams on all the emission tests for City,
Highway, Deterioration factors, cold start, and at different KM/Miles. |

Emissions paperwork differs from country to country. Is there a
particular country that you're asking about?

The country does not matter because the engine will be the same and
therefore the test data will be the same. I would prefer to find data
from Canada or if possible the U.S. but Germany, France, and
Austrailia would be great.

Emissions data are generally NOT the same from one country to the next
-- especially between EU and the US -- because the emission standards
are different, and cars are 'tuned' before importing to meet a
particular country's standards.
However, I will take a look and see what I can find.

Hi!
I was able to find UK emissions data for the Smart Fortwo Coupe and
Fortwo Cabrio. It doesn't say the year of the model however but the
site mentions that it contain the most up to date information.
The data I have includes the following:
1. Fuel Consumption - Metric [l/100 km]
a. Metric Urban (cold)
b. Metric Extra Urban
c. Metric Combined
2. Fuel Consumption - Imperial [mpg]
a. Imperial Urban (cold)
b. Imperial Extra Urban
c. Imperial Combined
3. Emissions
a. CO2 Emissions [g/km]
b. HC Emissions [g/km]
c. Particulates
d. Noise Level [dB(A), moving]
e. NOx Emissions [g/km]
f. Euro Standard
g. HC+NOx Emissions [g/km]
h. Fuel Cost / 12000 miles
The data doesn't come in the form of the way you indicated above like
emission tests for City, Highway, Deterioration factors, and cold
start. However, the other data components it provide might be of use
to you.
Would these sets of data be good enough for a legitimate answer?
Thanks!

To easterangel's clarifacation. The info you say you have is that for
both diesel and gasoline? And is it done by a reconized emissions
test? If the answer is yes may I see a sample of what you have?

Hi.
a. It has data for petrol, diesl and petrol hybrid.
b. The data is from the UK government or the Vehicle Certification Agency.
Sample Data: (Please be reminded that when I post my official answer,
I will provide you with the link to the specific page for the data.
The links provide them in an easier to read format.)
I will only give you snippets on the numbers important to you for this
sample since I might be in trouble of copyright violations if I copy
everything here.
Model: fortwo coupé
Description: 50 bhp 175 rear tyres
Engine Capacity: 698
Fuel Consumption - Metric [l/100 km]
Metric Urban (cold): 6.0
Metric Extra Urban: 4.0
Metric Combined: 4.7
CO2 Emissions [g/km]: 113
HC Emissions [g/km]: 0.063
Noise Level [dB(A), moving]: 74.0
NOx Emissions [g/km]: 0.039
CO Emissions [g/km]: 0.810
HC+NOx Emissions [g/km]: 0.102
As you can see from the data elements I listed in my earlier
clarification, there are still other numbers contained therein but
with this sample you can already get a picture of what to expect.
Would you want me to post the links to the other data as an offical answer?
Thanks.

To Easterangel. That would do. Please send me the link. Make sure that
all passwords are included if any are needed so I can access the data
without any problems.
