In the 1980's a 57-foot fishing vessel sank on an underwater seamount
off the Pacific Coast of Baja, Mexico or California. 10 aboard were
killed.

Where exactly did this happen (GPS coordinates, name of seamount).

The best bet to research this would be to find an old newspaper
article on the sinking. However, it seems unlikely that an article
would have exact GPS coordinates, and may not even be terribly
specific about which particular seamount was involved.

Would an article on the sinking do the trick? If not, what more were
you hoping for?

HI,

Me again. I think this is the colision you are looking for. However
some discrepancies are there the Gulf Queen was a 50 feet long
fisihing vessel and one person was killed. There are no other listings
of sinkings of this size of vessels in the 80's.

look up :

Hope it helps. Let me know if this was what you were looking for. No
GPS but lat/long co-ordinates are given.
