This is not a question but rather an attempt to find a qualified
astronomer or astronomy major who would be willing to help me procure
some coordinates. A website claims to have coordinates for an asteroid
that he will release to any qualified astronomer. I will pay whether
or not the astronomer is able to obtain these, and if (s)he does, we
will go from there to see if the "object" is viewable by telescope. I
would prefer any qualified individual to contact me personally via
email, as this is a little complicated and would be easier to go into
the details that way. Please contact me: Andrew L. Turrini
alturr@comcast.net if interested.

Hi Citizena,

I will be visiting an astronomer friend in about 17 hours time,
weather pending. GA rules do not allow for one on one contact. So if
you could explain your needs here in layman's terms, I would be more
than happy to relay your request for the benefit of mutual learning. I
presume that you might at least have some points of reference of
general direction and timing for southern hemisphere viewing.

Of particular interest is exactly how your website contact has managed
to contain the asteroid from release. :)

The individuaclaims the asteroid is not yet discovered-he has
"foreseen" it. As flakey as this sounds, he claims he will release the
Dec/RA to an astronomer. I was not able to procure this information
from him because I'm not an astronmer. Perhaps it's some kind of hoax,
but may be worth checking out.
