We have our house on the market. We have had a couple look at it several times, have even brought an architect. It has been a week and no word. Shouldn't our realtor keep us informed? Is there an alternative to "hurry up and wait?" And, is our realtor suppose to tell us when someone has no interest in our house and why? Thanks! |

The realtor works for you. If you are unhappy with the service provided by your realtor, get another one. |

You know someone is interested when they submit an offer to buy your house. Your agent would then submit the offer to you. If you have questions call your agent - he or she works for you. |

I assume that by now you have an answer from your realtor, but know this: your realtor is legally obligated to immediately PRESENT TO YOU any written offer to purchase your home. If that doesn't happen, they won't bother you. You can assume there is no written offer if one has not been presented... |
