Where was JFK on Dec. 29,1942? I am interested in  records of whom he
was with and method and route of transportation from the solomen
islands back to Virgina. I have found no history of his time between
Dec. 22 1943 and Jan 10, 1944.

I have been able to find the following information:

--When JFK received orders to return to the US

--When he left the South Pacific

--Where he left from

--What ship he took back to the States

--When he arrived in the States

--Which port he arrived at


However, I have not been able to find ANY information at all about the
journey itself -- who he sailed with, letters or personal notes, etc. 
Nothing!

Would the information I have be suitable as an answer to your question?

I am looking for JFK's Exact location on dec 29 1943 and the people
who were with him. since you have found the name of the ship he sailed
home on The route of this vessel home and a passeger list and log book
should exist for this vessel. This is where I stuck out. There are
some personel letters in the JFK library from this time but I have not
been able to access them. I beleve he wrote his mother a letter during
this trip.
