300!

That's a lot of pharma companies.  Most lists top out at 10 or 20, and
only a handful extend as far as 50.

Most of the companies you're looking for are probably included on this

but as you can see, they are not ranked in any fashion.

Are you sure that you need a list of 300?  If so, I rather doubt an
answer will be forthcoming.

I doubt a list of 300 is available - at least not a reliable list.
Most of the biggest drug companies are publicly traded on the U.S.
stock market, but only about 30 of them have sales of more than $1
billion. Get down to company number 100, and you're looking at revenue
of around $3 million, which is peanuts in that industry.

Bottom line: In order to get 300 companies, you're going to require
data from private companies. Those companies tend to guard their
financial information jealously, and for the most part, their revenues
will not be available on a public forum. As such, an accurate list of
300 seems like a tall task, even for a $200 research project.

What about a list of the top 100 publicly traded life-science
companies, including their R&D spending, sales, and total employees,
but not the number of individual researchers?

Would that information satisfy you? And if wo, what kind of price are
we talking about?

Intelligence, as the claim to be "The Pharmaceuticals and Medical

A ranked list of the top 100 life science companies (pharma, biotech,
biomed), with metrics on the number of researchers and/or R&D budget.

I willing to increase the fee for the above.

go to bioworld.com and sign up for a free trial.  They have market
caps on top 273 pharmas, and probably info on R&D also
