I want to be able to use the unix-shell ^E, ^A, ^F, ^B, etc line editing shortcuts when using firefox. I would like to have this functionality in windows, but I would be satisfied with an answer that described how I can get this behavior in the linux version. Annoyingly, this used to be the default... Mozilla's default behavior in linux enables the aforementioned emacs-y bindings, and older versions of firefox made it a configuration option. How can I make firefox 1.0 do what I want without hacking the source? Better yet, is there a solution that works in windows as well? Thanks so much! |

sigelman-ga: Have you tried the suggestion at http://kb.mozillazine.org/index.phtml?title=Emacs_Keybindings_(Firefox) -- I am not an official GA researcher |
