I want to create a website for selling ringtones, images, video etc for mobiles.
my question is:
a. how do I setup the services with popular mobile service providers (in US):
cingular,tmobile, verizon etc? do i need to pay them a share of revenue?

b. do does the download work? can I just give a short code to the user
and bypass these providers completely.

I am looking for an answer covering both technical and business side.
