What is the name of a hit song that came out in the late 90s early 2000.
 It is about a little kid's parents who are always fighting / arguing.
 The kid mentions something to affect of "close my eyes to make it go
away" and also says something about a superhero or superman.  My wife
thinks the song was song by a group such as Nickelback, Three Doors
Down, Blink 182, or Five
for Fighting (one of those rock type groups) she said it is a sad song
but she loves it.  She said she know's the song is not Kryptonite. 
Please help me find the name of this song.

No this isn't the song either.

Zebrahead - house is not my home, and Everclear - Wonderful are not
the songs.  Some please help me with this one.

Five For Fighting's "Superman (It's Not Easy)", perhaps? Doesn't
really follow the whole child arguing thing, but thought I'd at least
check.

That's not it.  My wife said the title of the song isn't necessarily
superhero or superman...the singer just mentions something about it in
the song.
