There is a property in New Jersey which I am interested in purchasing,
but I can't find out who the owner is.  The street address is as
follows:

32 Brunswick Avenue
Edison, New Jersey, 08817

I did my own search on Lexis and Westlaw, and all I found was the
owner listed as "32 Brunswick Avenue LLC," with the phone numbers
"732-819-8892," and "732-572-8900," both of which are duds.

Who owns this property?  How can we get in contact with him/her/it?

Dear mehtasachin569,

According to my research, "32 Brunswick Avenue LLC" is indeed the name
of the company owning that property, so it is not a mistake. On 24 May
2005, the previous owner (Glenway Holdings Inc. of New York) sold the
property to 32 Brunswick Avenue LLC. As of 10 January 2006, that is
the last sale recorded by the New Jersey Association of County Tax
Boards (NJACTB) [1]. So 32 Brunswick Avenue LLC must still be the
current owner.

The office address of that company, as listed in the NJACTB records, is as follows:

32 Brunswick Avenue LLC
32 Brunswick Avenue
Edison, NJ 08817

This is all the information available; telephone or fax numbers, or an
e-mail address are not included in the property record. Of course, I
also checked the records of the New Jersey State Business Gateway
Service [2] for more data about 32 Brunswick Avenue LLC.
Unfortunately, that New Jersey agency is extremely close-fisted when
it comes to releasing information. I was able to find out that "32
Brunswick Avenue LLC" is indeed a company registered in New Jersey,
that their ID number is 0600228964, and that their UCC filing numbers
are 22994547 and 22994554. For any additional information from their
database, the agency demands a fee.

However, it is at least clear who the owner of that property is and
how they may be contacted in writing. I wish I could provide you more
detailed information, but that is all that is available.

That seems like all the information I could find also.  We would
prefer not to mail the company/address, because the property looks to
be a relatively unused warehouse, without personnel.

Maybe I could contact Glenway Holdings, Inc. and see if I can get a
telephone number/contact?  Can you obtain this information?

I guess I can help you, although searching the necessary contact
information was not easy.

First, I searched "Glenway Holdings Inc." in the NY  Department of
State database of registered companies. This was the result:

Glenway Holdings Inc.
CEO: Weng Ji
55 First Avenue
Kings Park, NY 11754

Of course, this is not very helpful since there is no telephone
number, and the company (as many holdings) is not listed in the
telephone directories.

Then, I remembered that the full name of the previous owner in the
property record was "Glenway Holdings Inc % PEM America, 230 5th
Avenue, NY". So there had to be a close connection between Glenway
Holdings and PEM America. Therefore, I also searched for PEM America
and this 5th Avenue address I found them, both in the corporation
database and as a member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce [2]. And
much to my surprise, the obvious owner is identical with the CEO of
Glenway Holdings, Wang Ji:

They are also listed, as PEM-America and with the same telephone
number, as tenant in the building 230 5th Avenue, where they maintain

Finally, the company is also listed in the Switchboard telephone
directory, with their 230 5th Avenue address and Mr. Ji's company
phone number.

I assume that Glenway Holdings is part of or closely connected with
PEM America. After all, they have the same owner and they acted as one
when selling the Edison property. I recommend to contact them.
