Can't seem to find this online anywhere:

A digital timer, like the kind they have for kitchen use, only
designed to wear around one's neck on a lanyard (small enough and with
a hole to put the lanyard through). I'm not looking for a stop watch.
Just a timer that can be set for any length of time up to 24 hours.
Gift for an elderly lady who's having trouble remembering her meds.

Hi Timespacette,

I bought similar to that you described for my ageing Dad (RIP). He
reckoned it was the best thing ever. He just kept it in his shirt
pocket. However, I have found what you want (lanyard included) for the
bargain basement price of US$19.99.

I fluked it with my first entry of "medication reminder" in G**gle. If
you don't get the same result, go straight to "forgettingthepill.com".
Scroll down to the blue one, left of page. Looks like they also have
more dressy ones for the ladies too.

Good luck.

thank you silver, for your input on this. I went to the page:
http://www.easycart.net/cgi-bin/DiscreetInnovationsLtd./order.cgi?orderone++Timers+1+410+1
and it's close but no cigar . . . I mean no place to thread a lanyard!
there seems to be every variety of medication reminder, even a talking
one, but none that I can see that fit the description. She doesn't
like to wear watches; if it's not around her neck she'll leave it
somewhere and forget. Darn!

anyway, still, thank you.

Hey TS,

Try it again. I meant the second blue one. Yep, lanyard included. You
were looking at model 410. Look at 383 and also the brass looking one,
model 212.
Model 212 vibrates, as a silent remind for the wearer.

Regards, S7.

p.s. now please mail my Cuban cigar !!
