mimig-ga,

I found a terrific resource that lists virtually all the major trade
shows coming up, although they are not ranked by size.

Have a look, and let me know if it meets your needs. The easiest link
to access is this one:

http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:LVsMmHaJMFoJ:www.thetradeshownetwork.com/TTNMG2006ShowCalendar.xls+conexpo+fose+jck+&hl=en

although you can download an actual spreadsheet file at the primary
link (but it's a long download):

http://www.thetradeshownetwork.com/TTNMG2006ShowCalendar.xls

Look them over, and you'll see that the top shows listed in the
comment (below) all seem to be listed here as well.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you, however, this is answer lacks the critical "size/ranking"
aspect - 25 largest. However, I suspect the same resource might have
that info, too, as the name, date and locations are excellent. But
I'm trying to zero in on the largest trade shows, not all 243. Many
thanks.

Getting a *wee* bit closer.

Here's a list of the Top 50 trade shows in the US:

http://www.absoluteexhibits.com/aboutae/calendar.asp

but they're not in ranked order. Still, that narrows things down a bit.

Are we getting there?

Well, it's not exactly what I wanted, but it is close. So I will
consider it a "3 star" answer, as is; and "four star" if the list of
243 only included these top 50 (so I don't have to deal w/the other
193); then you can "collect" your bounty. Many thanks for all your
searching! Mimi

Thanks this is a good start; but not the 2006 answer.
