Hello, I am working on a product similar to condoms and already have a manufacturer in China who is going to produce the product for me at low cost. The product is an already existing product and all I am going to do is package and market it differently. But that's where my knowledge of introducing a product to the marketplace ends. I am trying find good case studies for small products in the Personal Hygiene shelf. In specific I want to know how they actually made it to the market. Who do I need to approach. Do I go directly to the purchasing department of a place like CVS Pharmacy or what? At what point do I actually order the product to be shipped. At this point I have the following question: * How do I go about product placement * What is the best way to advertise and market small products such as this * What sort of Customs fees do I have to deal with and pay * What is the best way to go about shipping this sort of thing from China So if you know of some good and relevant reading materials that I could read, preferably on the Internet but also in print that would be a pretty good answer to my question.
