"The Division of Criminal Justice Services provides individuals with
the opportunity to obtain and review their own criminal history record
for the purpose of challenging the accuracy and completeness of that
record. Individuals may also request a copy of their own criminal
history record for personal use. [If no record exists, a statement to
that effect will be provided.] To obtain a copy of your criminal
history record, request an informational packet from: Record Review
Unit New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services 4 Tower
Place Albany, New York 12203-3764 or call 518-485-7675 You can visit
the web site of DCJS at www.criminaljustice.state.ny.us"
Presumably this includes a copy of mugshots but you should enquire first.
Further information from the NY State Division of Criminal Justice Services
Personal Criminal History Record Review Program including requesting a
Record Review Packet either by email, standard mail or phone can be

"A personal criminal history record review is initiated by requesting
a Record Review Packet from DCJS, and following the directions for the
completion and submission of a fingerprint card to DCJS along with a
fee of $50. (There is no fee for the application packet itself,
however a fee of $50 must be included when you complete the materials
and return them to DCJS to obtain a copy of your records)."
Again, you should check this will definitely include a copy of the mugshot. |
