Hi, What is formula 49. It is commonly referenced in terms of model trains in removal of decals. But I have never seen heard this name before. Waht is it? Can you send me a link with a pic as well as your answer? (ideally also a place I can buy it online) thanks |

Hello. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the solvent in question is actually "Formula 409." The documentation that you've read likely contains a misprint. See: Formula 409 http://www.formula409.com/ Buy some on eBay: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=%22formula+409%22&category0= Or via Froogle: http://froogle.google.com/froogle_cluster?q=%22formula+409%22+%22all+purpose%22&pid=4777625502999651618&oid=6842128541854179679&btnG=Search+Froogle&lmode=&addr=&scoring=p&hl=en ----------- search strategy: "formula 409" I hope this helps. If not, please let me know via the "request clarification" feature. |

The best thing for removing stickers is a product called "Goo Gone." It's like $3 at the hardware store. http://www.drugstore.com/qxp81908_333181_sespider/goo_gone/stain_remover.htm |
