Question 2 What school was the first team to be a number 1 seed in the NCAA tournament three years in a row without winning a game? Your Answer DePaul! Depaul was ranked first in the entire nation in 1980-81-82 when top seeds got a bye into the 2nd round, but lost to UCLA, St. Joe's, and Boston College. BTW...your strategy on this type of thing should be to just take a chunk on the question and ask your search engine (Google??!!) to find the EXACT match... In the above case I searched for "three years in a row without winning a game" as an exact phrase and found 3 hits 2 of which were from the funtrivia site...then i just submitted the quiz to get the 'right' answers back. Please note...I did not go to the NCAA record books to verify that the funtrivia site is correct. Please donate your leftover $1.50 to a disaster fund of your choice! Good Luck. |
