Hi, I'm new to XML and I have a question. I am using third-party software to create an XML file. It works fine. I passed the file to one of our clients and they asked if there was a corresponding XSD file associated with the XML file. Can I create an XSD file from an XML file very easily. I really do not want to do anything more than use a tool to convert XLM to XSL. Is there one? Am I accurate in my thinking? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, softballkid1961 |

.Net framework comes with command line tools to create XSD file from XML files. You can use that if you have framework installed. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cptools/html/cpconxmlschemadefinitiontoolxsdexe.asp |

Is that the only was to do it. I prefer not to have to install .net on my machine. Softballkid1961 |
