Sorry, I didn't mean to make a "comment" - so perhaps this is better as suggested:

What are three specific logic puzzles / lateral thinking or even
riddles where the answers for each are, respectively, 34, 276 and 158

And yes, any puzzle will do

Hi,

I make these, or rather things similar, quite frequently, and I'm
putting together some for you now. My only real question here is what
level would you like these at? As you know, puzzles of any sort
generally work with a level of mis-direction in which the player needs
to 'see through' in order to solve. Some are simple, some are very
difficult. This one, for instance, I would consider a 'medium' puzzle
to solve to get the needed number.

"Three by three were slain by two. Pass the days to the next day of
rest, after half a general's fornight. Three by and by stand from
these. What number am I thinking of."

We'll call that a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being very obvious to the
normal highschool student, 10 being near impossible or very obscure.

So, where would you like this answer to aim?

OK - I am very excited now - give me 10 of those and I will pay a
bonus of another $35- $60 in total Deal?

I need four easy - children could solve them - say 3 on your scale
I need three moderate - 5 or 6 on your scale

and

I need three hard - 7 or 8 on your scale

With the answers please!

Thx

do-able. Nice challenge to start the week anyway...

Here's a set of 3 for the answer of 34. Check these out, give some
comments if you feel it needs them, or let me know I'm on the right
track, and I'll be ready to answer you in full from that point I
believe.

Urgent - for webadept-ga

When I asked for more, I did not specify the numbers, please make them
whatever you wish between 15 and 200 (if you have already done one for
276 no problem, if not, please don't!)

Many thanks

The problem is that many different puzzles can be constructed that
will give the required answers.

Will any puzzle do?

How about this riddle for '34':
"How old am I? The long and short of it - I am six and four,
additionally I am seven. But I'm more than thirty!"

[i.e. written out - in it's 'long' form - thirty-four is six and four
letters long. Written in it's 'short' form, '34' adds up to seven. I
added 'more than thirty', as otherwise the answer could also be 25.]
