I am writing a paper on David Hume's belief in cause and effect and my
thesis statement is:

"Hume?s attempt to ground our cause and effect in habit or custom
fails, because if his theory were true, we would have no reason to
think that it is true."

I am looking for website, articles, and books that argue AGAINST David
Hume's philosophy on cause and effect. Most information that I find is
talking about the belief that necessary connection can or cannot be
seen. Also, I will add a $10 tip if you can help me establish some
arguments to support my thesis.
