I'm looking for 2 prints from around the 1940's -50's. I cannot make
out the name of the artist, but the copyright is by B. P. Co. What
does this stand for and does the copyright still apply. They are
pictures of a little boy and one of a little girl sitting in a chair.
One is reading a book and the other is eating a cookie

Hello there,

There's no reason to think the copyright wouldn't apply, as they hold
for quite a long period, and would still be valid, even if from the
1940 era.

As for your question...what is it, exactly?

Do you just want to know about the B. P. Co? If so, it would help
immensley to have any other bits of information that might be
available. Especially where they were located (i.e. it's a whole lot
easier to find the B. P Co. in NJ, then to locate it anywhere in the
world).

Is there anything else you want to know beyond just the B. P. Co?

Let us know.

The prints are framable pictures. Almost a watercolor quality. I'm
not sure of the exact date of their production, but they were
originally an anniversary present to my parents. The little boy in
one of the pictures is reading a book and the other picture of a
little girl is eating a cookie with a glass of milk on a table beside
her. Both are sitting in chairs, possible rocking chairs. They seem
to come as a set. The artist name appears to be something like
Ingiverson?

Thanks for the detailed description, but what, exactly, is your question...?

I'm trying to locate the prints themselves or at the very least to get
in touch with the publishing company to see if they are available.
That is why I was hoping to find out who the company was. The prints
were originally purchased framed in western New York.
