The sci-fi movie about earthquakes, Descend [2005] has a scene where
two geeks steal a supercomputer for their boss. They mention that it
is a Spartan GT supercomputer with 15 ProTec 7.5 GHz microprocessors.
I would like to know:
1) Does the mentioned supercomputer exist?
2) If yes, what company made them, and when (how old), and whether
they are currently used, or have any later models.
3) And more importantly, I would like to know whether there such a
thing as a 7.5 GHz processor, since supercomputers usually employ very
many real slow processors.

I would doubt that a search would produce the result. Like I said
elsewhere, this was a "small" supercomputer.
I have come to understanding that:
1) The question is probably not answerable in this form and here.
2) It a bad decision to lie to me in the movie like that! (if they did).

The Google search term

produced no results

Neither did

You might also want to know that supercomputers generally have
thousands of processors.
