What's your question? (By the way, the first word of the epitaph is "Just"; you've mistaken an old-fashioned "s" for an "f".) |

The epitaph doesn't seem to say anything about how the man died. In modern English it says that the occupant of the grave was: "Just, generous and humane; he only had any knowledge of vice, in order to avoid it; and he displayed every virtue." |
