My father is from Canada. he have spoken on and off, but he passed away recently very quickly. there was a woman he was involved with for 16 years, yet they did not live together. She will not provide any information other than there is a will. I understand in the United States it is possible to get a copy, bt what about Canada? If I am the only living heir is it possible to get a copy of that will? Is it possible to get that online or through an attorney or do I actually have to go to Canada? |

What city in Canada did he die in? Normally the will is filed within 30 days after the death. You should really be consulting with a Canadian probate attorney about this or post your query on www.lawguru.com where it would be seen by a Canadian attorney in the area you are interested in. |
