I am in the IRR and I was ordered to go to FT. Knox I went to FT. Knox then went to Mississippi for a refresher course in my Military Job. I was ordered to report for duty in Ft. Bragg on OCT 17th I arrived there on OCT 17th but immediatly left that night. I have been gone for over a month now. What can happen to me? Will I go to Jail or will I be processed out? |

It appears you are subject to military law. When you are caught or turn yourself in you could be prosecuted for AWOL or, if they can prove you never intended to return, desertion. |

Most likely a short spell in the Glasshouse - and then an overseas posting Unless you want to disappear into the woodwork - and feel seriously insecure for the rest of your life I suggest that you report for duty, maintain you have been on a 28 day drunk, and ask for a venerial disease test. 'Well I met this girl in a bar, and the next thing I knew it was Tuesday ...' |
