I need examples of optimized database schemas for a variety of
software applications (e.g. shopping carts, auction sites, newsgroups,
content management systems) and functions (e.g. user profiles). Years
ago I found a site that sold this information but cannot find anything
like it now, five years later. These database designs were normalized
and reflected a depth of experience with database needs for these
applications and functions.
