One option is a ticket broker such as:

http://www.ticketstogo.com/rodeo/

They have tickets but they are not affiliated with the official box
office - in other words, you will be paying above face value.

Have a good day.

I understand that brokers get tickets. I would like to join a club,
etc to have this opportunity. I'd like to know how many tickets do
the brokers get to buy pre-sale? Could they buy all of them? Why do
they get this right? ONly ticketmaster & Reliant stadium are the
official agents. I do not understand.

The best place for ticket brokers to learn about the business is at:

http://www.presaleinfo.com/

They would have information about the Rodeo Houston Presale as well as
any other event on sale.

You have to be a ticket broker to join but they might be willing ti
help answer your questions.

In order for you to purchase presale tickets for the Houston Rodeo,
you must be a season tickets holder for the rodeo or the Houston
Texans. Both will let you purchase tickets before the general public.
I have never had a problem getting tickets for any of the rodeo shows
or concerts as long as I was on my computer right when they went
onsale. It's those who wait that end out without tickets. I was even
able to get good lower level George Strait tickets when they went
onsale through Ticketmaster.com. I have used the company mentioned in
this blog, www.TicketsToGo.com and they tell me that most of the
tickets that they sell actually belong to Season tickets holders who
put them on consignment with their company. They told me the best way
to ensure that you get good seats to the Rodeo is to purchase Season
tickets and then you can sell your extras to them or your friends to
cover the cost on the ones that you keep. It's a good deal for
everyone all the way around. I bought 4 George Strait tickets and
only needed 2 so I sold my extras to www.TicketsToGo.com and they
paid me $60.00 each which covered my two plus a little extra. Great
deal for both of us. So if you thing the ticket brokers have all the
tickets, think again. Ticketstogo.com said that all the brokers
combined only carry about 3% of the Rodeo tickets. That means that
97% of the tickets are actually in the hands of the fans.
