I need to know the name of the Washington Bureau Chief for "the largest newspaper in Germany". He has been on CSPAN many times and is in his late 50s or early 60s. |

I expect that you are looking for the correspondent for either "Süddeutsche Zeitung" or "Die Welt", since the man in Washington for the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung", Matthias Rüb, is only 43. Is it possible that the person is a correspondent for German TV? At least I can link you to photos of two that may be the right age: http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/portraet/0,1946,2002933,00.html In the lower left corner of this page, click on Guido Knopp http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/inhalt/5/0,1872,2007525,00.html |
