I'm looking for an obituary for a Daryl Moore, he was a LAPD officer.
I think he passed away from cancer in the last 3 years, maybe 2. He
was in his late 30's or early 40's I believe. Doesent have to be an
obit, just something on his death.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

Not about his death but I thought you might be interested in this reference to him:

A search of the LA Times from 1996-2004 didn't produce any results.
Did you recall reading anything about him in any particular newspaper?

Are you absolutely sure that he is dead?

His name apparently does not show up in the death index unless it is
the Daryl E. Moore who died July 21, 2000 in Bakersfield, CA (KERN
COUNTY). You'd be better off contacting the LAPD (do a google search
to see if they have a website) and it would be very easy for them to
check their files to see if he is dead or alive.

I've seen references to a Daryl McLemore at the LAPD, but not to a death.
