I am trying to access an e-mail address in France-eric.liozon@unilim.fr- but everytime I try it I have no luck. Is there a certain way to access addresses outside of the country? If you can access this address,I would appreciate not only knowing how I could but to whom it belongs. I am trying to access scientific data and this was the address provided with the abstract in the National Library of Medicine. |

Hi Gooby-ga, If you are looking to contact this person individually, just enter the e-mail address in the TO: field of any email. If you are looking to find them online follow the information at the bottom of the page for the french website (www.unilim.fr). You can't access this address as it is an e-mail address as indicated by the @ symbol. The first half is the individuals name, and the second half is the website in which the e-mail is received through. Normally I would not give out information about an individual online, but as it is clearly stated in the email address, I don't see the harm in pointing it out. eric.liozon@unilim.fr is Dr. Eric Liozon, the email address is from www.unilim.fr. If you click http://www.unilim.fr you will go directly to the main website for Universite De Limoges (University Hospital of Limoges). Unfortunately that website is in French. Dr Liozon seems to be involved with the field of Dermatology. I found an article on Google news relating to this topic, including his e-mail address and a mention of the hospital in Limoges. From: YVONNE Critter Crusader (yss57@webtv.net) Subject: YLink-Routine vs Extensive Malignancy Search for Adult Dermatomyositis Newsgroups: alt.med.fibromyalgia Date: 2002-07-02 09:15:13 PST http://groups.google.com/groups?q=eric.liozon%40unilim.fr&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&selm=27730-3D21CAC8-391%40storefull-2358.public.lawson.webtv.net&rnum=1 Google search strategy: searched for eric.liozon@unilim.fr at http://groups.google.com/ I also confirmed his relationship with the Hospital in Limoges by going to the website Http://www.unilim.fr I then clicked the contact information link (the word contact with a hand as an icon) then click "addresses utiles" and enter the name liozon in the search box in the upper right hand corner labeled "Rechercher un e-mail". Or go directly to the link below. http://www.unilim.fr/contents/index.htm?page=./contact/ I received this as results: Concernant: liozon Identité: eric liozon E-mail: eric.liozon@unilim.fr Description: Liozon E. - Med. Interne A - fac. Medecine I hope this helps you contact Dr. Liozon, I have also e-mailed him myself personally and indicated that you were attempting to find him. I included a link to this topic. Perhaps we will hear from Dr. Liozon directly and he can assist you with the data you require. Mother911-ga |

Dear Gooby, May I add (to mother's great answer), that the whole beauty in the Internet is that you can contact - by email or otherwise - people around the world, no matter where they are located. Emails around the world function the same. In other words, if you get your message back everytime, it could be: (1) You are not writing the address correctly (writing only the address, eric.liozon@unilim.fr in the "to:" line). (2) He had stopped using this address. (3) His mailbox is floated and until he cleans it up he won't be able to get any more new mail. (4) Something is wrong with your email service (highly improbable). If you're getting your bounce message in English, it probably means that your email service couldn't find this address - or in other words that you have written it wrongly, got it wrongly (it was mistyped in the mdeical journal you've read), etc. If the message you are receiving is in French, it is probably an "out of office" message (it is now vacation time in France), or that you got to a floated inbox, or that the server in unilim.fr cannot find such an address also. |

Mail2Web has a great service for checking POP3 e-mail accounts. All you have to do is type your e-mail address and your password, then presto! I used the service heaps on my recent trip to Thailand. The URL is http://www.mail2web.com Hope this helps! Best regards, Henry |
