Hi, You probably know that there are birthday cards which allow you to record a short message. When the recipient opens the card, the message is played back. These cards typically cost a couple of bucks. I need to know where these recording devices (excluding the card) are sold, either at the retail or wholesale level. The sound quality does not have to be good. The seller can be located anywhere in the world (I suspect asian sellers will be cheaper). If you can provide multiple sellers I will give a proper tip. You could never beat the Chinese with their chip--on--the board and rosin covered chips approach. I do not know what to use for mid to large volumes, but for low volumes try digikey.com. They have self--contained voice recorder chips that require few external parts. Although these are more than 10 second parts, it was easy for me to use the 90 second one with homebuilt PCB. |
