I am looking for a Macromedia Flash resource on the web where visitors can download Library's of Flash Symbols to be used in a Flash Animation. I am particularily interested in FLASH Cartoon Characters that can be downloaded and used in flash movies. If you can find me a web site that has libraries of flash symbols available for download, I am willing to pay $10 cdn. | |

Thanks for your clarification, Paul. I think I have what you need, and best of all it's free. Introducing (ta-da!) the Masked Cucumber Official Web site (no, don't ask me why). See ... http://www.chourave.ch/wwwboard2-vf/dl/us/downloadflas0us.html Since the download isn't all that intuitive, I'll give you a step-by-step ... Click, for instance, om "The White Bird" link. Then click on the whitebird1.fla.zip link. And what you'll get is a nice animated cartoon of a bird flying that can be imported and used within Flash. Many more are on the site. Hope that works for your students. regards, rico |

have you thought about just trying to find downloadable vector-based clip art? Any vector-based artwork (EPS, Freehand, WMF, etc.) can be used in Flash with no loss of quality regardless of size or changes you make to it. You may have more luck with finding artwork made for lots of purposes (e.g. standard vector art) than that made only for Flash. |

Hi Paul, Just wanted to point out that the $10 price you've included to your question will be interpreted as USD. You may want to repost the question with the conversion taken into account. answerguru-ga |
