I am looking for a Macromedia Flash resource on the web where visitors
can download Library's of Flash Symbols to be used in a Flash
Animation.

I am particularily interested in FLASH Cartoon Characters that can be
downloaded and used in flash movies.

If you can find me a web site that has libraries of flash symbols
available for download, I am willing to pay $10 cdn.

As noted in the comments below ...

- Are you looking for pre-built symbol libraries?
- Do these libraries need to be free?
- Do you understand that the $10 noted in your price is USD according
to Google's TOS?

I've found a few commercial Flash symbol library sources, and as noted
by Joey, there's a slew of available clip art that could possibly be
converted to symbols in Flash if you desired. Please clarify what
you're looking for, and I'll see if I can lend a hand.

Thankyou for your help guys-

I am particularily looking for FLash symbols that have been animated
already. IE: a character walking / running. I am developing an
animation course, and need symbols for students who do not know how to
draw but still want to animate.

The symbol librarys must be below $30 for membership.

Thanks

paul

Thanks for your clarification, Paul. I think I have what you need,
and best of all it's free. Introducing (ta-da!) the Masked Cucumber
Official Web site (no, don't ask me why).

See ...

Since the download isn't all that intuitive, I'll give you a
step-by-step ...

Click, for instance, om "The White Bird" link. Then click on the
whitebird1.fla.zip link.

And what you'll get is a nice animated cartoon of a bird flying that
can be imported and used within Flash.

Many more are on the site. Hope that works for your students.

regards,

rico

I had closed this question and was still charged for the answer. Your
technition says that I never closed it, but I did. And I want a
refund please.

After finding out I was charged, I checked the answers, and found that
it was not what I had asked for anyhow.

Thank you

have you thought about just trying to find downloadable vector-based
clip art? Any vector-based artwork (EPS, Freehand, WMF, etc.) can be
used in Flash with no loss of quality regardless of size or changes
you make to it. You may have more luck with finding artwork made for
lots of purposes (e.g. standard vector art) than that made only for
Flash.

Hi Paul,

Just wanted to point out that the $10 price you've included to your
question will be interpreted as USD. You may want to repost the
question with the conversion taken into account.
