Would you consider the Confort Inn in Palo Alto. It is pet friendly.

"Enjoy visits to beautiful Palo Alto with your four-legged pet pals.
The Comfort Inn Stanford now offers pet friendly accommodations,
plenty of outdoor green space for pet walks, pet blankets and bowls.
Our hotel is near several pet-friendly parks and open spaces,
including Foothills Park, where dogs are welcome to hike the scenic
nature trails and frolic in the open spaces on a leash. Palo Alto is
very pet friendly destination, maintaining miles of parks, open space,
