I am trying to find a starting point to begin researching how to open
an early intervention agency in New York (business is based in Nassau
County, services would be provided in NYC as well.) I am already an
early intervention provider, meaning I am able to work as a
speech-langauge pathologist for other agencies, but I need to know how
to start from the bottom up. I am looking to access the application to
start this process of opening an agency as well as a link to the
guidelines regarding how to operate the business, keep records, etc.
The early intervention program in New York provides services to kids
0-3 and is managed by the Department of Public health, not the Dept of
Ed. Thank you for you time. Please let me know if this question is
appropriately priced.
