In the schools of the 21st century, classes are composed of an array of students, including typical learners, those who have a first language other than English, those who might be experiencing stress in their lives and/ or those who might have a disability. In the past, teachers might have sought to have these students taught by other educators, in separate classes. Today?s teachers are expected to effectively educate almost all learners. Discuss in approximately 1200 words, how your thinking about educating all students has evolved. Provide specific and concrete evidence from the professional literature to support your perspective. |

While it is doubtful that challanged students are better off intigrated into the mainstream, than they would be in separate classes optimised to their needs, It is all but certain that the best adjusted, and brightest students would do far better, segrigated into classes optimized to help them become brilliant leaders. IMHO the liberal education leaders are insane, and/or increadibly wicked. " no child left behind" is an irrational goal. Neil |
