You can solve ur problem using registry editor. To open registry editor type regedit.exe in run window. start -> run -> regedit.exe then modify this registry keys as your choice Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ System] Name: NoDispScrSavPage Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value) Value: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled) my english knowlege is very poore. sorry about it. continue with good works. Disclaimer: I don't use XP regularly, although I have used it from time to time. Delete the corresponding .scr files from your windows system folder, likely C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32. (You can search for *.scr files if this isn't the place or you're not sure where the system folder is.) It may help you to make sure Windows Explorer is set to always display file extensions. Again, I don't know for sure where this is in XP, but in earlier versions it's under Tools > Folder Options > View tab: an option called "Hide file extensions for known file types" (or similar). Make sure this is unchecked. |
