I currently have two computers hooked up with a router. I have
Microsoft Outlook 2000 on one and Microsoft Outlook 2003 on the other.
Right now both Outlooks are getting e-mails which splits my e-mails on
two different computers.

I want to make my Outlook 2003 my one and only program, but I want to
be able to access it from either computer. I want to be able to go to
either computer and enter my items in my calendar and deal with
e-mails keeping everything in one place. Is it just a matter of
putting my outlook 2003 program in my shared network file or is there
more to it?

I am looking for step by step instructions to set this up or a link to
a site that has the step by step instructions.

You could setup outlook 2k/2k3 to leave a copy on your email server:

(open outlook, click tools, click e-mails accounts, select view or
change existing email accounts, click next, select email account,
click change, click more settings, click advanced tab, click check box
leave a copy of messages on the server)

as long as you don't delete it will be accessable on both computers,
if you delete and one computer then next time you check your email on
the other it will automaticly delete the other one.. sync it pretty
much.

With out exchange sharing your calander doesn't work. However there
is a list a tools you can take a look at and give a try, there are
many and they do apply here. Follow this link: <A
