I need a macro that takes a highlighted group of cells in a MS word table...copys their formating (ctrl+shift+C)...pastes inforamtion that was already copied from excel (ctrl+V)...than pastes the formating onto those sames cells (ctrl+shift+V)...the major problem that is encountered, is that the highlighted area is deslected after pasting...so you must rehighlight in order to paste the formating into it...I am looking for a macro that does all three functions with one button on highlighted cells of varying length (3 rows, 2 columns...4 rows, 1 column, etc.)...thanks. | |

Have you tried the command "Paste Special"? This allows you to paste as text only, which will paste in the results but keep the existing formatting. |
