I found this:

January 20, 1979
http://www.bandboston.com/Tour%20Pages/tour7879.htm

Do you have reason to believe there are other dates?

The page that you linked to is a page for a Boston tour, not the
Dobbie Brothers.....

There is no record, at least under the listing of major events,
showing that the doobie brothers have ever formally performed at the
university. The archive of performances on the doobie brothers's site
only dates back to the previous year. Do you know for certain that
they have in fact performed at clemson, and if so, do you have any
idea how long ago it might have been (months, years, decades) ?

I think that it would have been somewhere between AUgust 1976 and May
1980. Perhaps in the Fall since there is speculation that the concert
was the same weekend as a Clemson - University of South Carolina game
held at Clemson. (As far as I know the Clemson - USC games were at
Clemson in 1976, 1978, 1980 and 1982.) BUT, the concert could have
been there at the same time as any home game.
